Regular Canvas

This canvas is 12 oz. numbered duck.  100% cotton canvas.  It is higher classification than army duck.  The weave is very tight and has a high thread count.  This canvas has a much higher tear resistance than most treated material.   We can actually carry water in this canvas.  The seam is a flat felt locking seam.  This means that all seams are four layers and locked together for strength.   The thread that we use is a filco thread.  It is a cotton wrap thread with a polyester core for strength.  There are no raw edges on our finished product!

Treated Canvas - Sunforger Flame Retardant

    This is a 10.10 oz. army duck that has been treated with a product called Sunforger.  It is a water repellent, mildew resistant, and fire retardant which meets CPAI-84 requirements  The finished weight of this canvas is approximately 12 oz. per yard.  This canvas is recommended if you live in a high humidity area.  Just remember that no canvas is mildew proof!   Just mildew resistant, so you must store your canvas goods in a dry place.   The fire retardant is not fireproof. Please always use caution.
